Gourmet Popcorn
BAG O' BEANS Gourmet Popcorn contains no cholesterol, no fat, no additives, is high in fiber and offers a unique flavor and texture, surprising and delighting the consumer. Our popcorn is colored by Mother Nature and all the varieties pop snow white with the exception of Zuni Gold which pops GIANT yellow.

THE BEGINNINGS
After fifteen years as Reno health food store merchants, Stan and Linda Averett saw an opportunity to provide "healthy gourmet" food to an ever increasing number of savvy, informed consumers.
The Averetts started in 1986 packing dry bean blends for soups, salads and one dish meals and selling them to other health food stores, gourmet food stores and distributors nationwide, eventually expanding to Asia and Europe.
Later, they added naturally colored popping corn, which met with instant success and continues to increase in popularity. The Averetts managed to take a "Hill of Beans" and make it into a thriving business.
