To sum up the museum in one word ... awesome! Inspired by the Black Rock Desert, the new NMA is an environmental statement about Nevada's unique landscape. With 13,482 square feet of expanded gallery space for major exhibitions, 180 seat multimedia theater for presentations, recitals and films, dining in Café Musée and street-level and rooftop galleries, it continues to offer audiences of all ages a variety of experiences.

HOURS: Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm - Thursday till 8:00 PM Closed Mondays and national holidays.

ADMISSION: Adults $7, Students/seniors $5, children (6-12) $1, children 5 and under and NMA members FREE.

PERMANENT COLLECTION GALLERIES: The NMA's permanent collection consists of over 1,900 works of art organized around the general themes of land and environment. The new museum features 5,000 square feet of gallery space dedicated to the exhibition of the permanent collection.

CAFÉ MUSÉE: Offering table service for both indoor and outdoor seating, Café Musée serves fresh American cuisine and offers packaged sandwiches and hot and cold beverages for visitors dining in the rooftop sculpture garden.

MUSEUM STORE: The Store offers visitors a selection of unique gifts and souvenirs, featuring silver and fiber jewelry, pottery, sculpture, calendars, and hard-to-find books. You'll also find toys and games for children that inspire the creative spirit.
