I hit the jackpot(only time) on this quarter game. I usually play it where ever i go. I like mostly old fashion reel slots. I occasionally play video slots like hot penny or texas tea. |

It takes a sad, lonely man to find a six year old post and "bump" it.
Or one that is customer-service oriented.
Not sure which category for JD.................... |

Heck, you should have seen our "Where's Jerry" thread; a model of longevity, it was...
I'm pretty sure that "Sad and Lonely" was a checkbox which I had to agree to in the terms of service to start using the board....
Either way, JD is clearly on the customer-service-orientation side; just look at his careful documentation of how badly he's been screwed from every major casino's players "club", with what one sole exception?
CAL-NEVA!!!
I'll close with my new slogan:
CAL-NEVA FOR-EVA!!! |

OK, attention bumped!
Regarding the Blazing 7s, I gotta say that I haven't spent much time with the quarter ones. Anything can happen, but it seems like I've spent more money trying to get a 200 or 300 credit hit than the top jackpot is worth (the machines at Harrah's reset at $375, and only $250 at the GSR). MUCH better luck on the dollar models in the long run based on the overall hit frequency.
But, they're a great time-passer, and can come in handy and go far on the days when you've only got $10-$15 in free play, in which case, $50 and $75 is awesome. Like this!
Still hoping to hit the progressive on one someday, just for the flair.
Oh, and speaking of the Cal Neva and great customer service, I'm with everyone else. I think I've found a good replacement for the Silver Legacy. Not too many people know it, but both the Cal Neva Nevadan slots and the Red Hot Genies slots at Harrah's are Blazing 7s bodies and brains (the only difference being the Red Hot Genies machines are only 2 coins vs. 3), just with different graphics. Look closely, and you'll notice the genies are surrounded by fire. So, I've been dubbing them "The Blazing Cal Nevas" and "The Blazing Genies!" Sometimes a change of scenery is good!
